Our Training Programs

Article 9 Training

Master the foundational principles required by the State of Arizona for providing paid services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Topics include positive behavior support, managing challenging behaviors, individual rights, and documentation.

CPR and First Aid Certification

Gain hands-on training in CPR, AED use, choking relief techniques, and basic first aid to respond to emergencies effectively.

Prevention and Support

Develop strategies to foster positive relationships, handle challenging behaviors, and ensure safety through emergency intervention techniques. This class involves physical activities; participants should be in good health.

Direct Care Worker (DCW) Training

Mandatory training for direct care workers providing attendant care services. Covers Level 1 Fundamentals and Level 2 specialization in developmental disabilities or aging and physical disabilities.

Incident Reporting

Learn best practices for documenting and reporting incidents in compliance with regulations. This training ensures staff understand the importance of thorough and accurate documentation.

Cultural Competency
